Dungeons and Dragons
One Shot story
I made a one shot. It's about a group of people taken by the evil king to destroy a dragon.
One day king decided no one with any fighting abilities can roam free in his country. He decreed everyone with such abilities has to be taken and executed.
He did not change his mind even when dark smoke came from a long abandoned dwarven city. It meant there is a dragon that stared to wake up. Because he did not want to risc his own army he chose few of the prisoners and send them to deal with the threat to the country.
First background I made was for my oneshot story. It was a pond with just one animal in the middle of a forest. I made it with alcohol markers. The only thing I'm not produ of is the look of my legendary goose in it's relaxed form.
The next photo shows abandoned dwarven city which is the destination from the one shot.  I'm mostly proud of the look i gave to the grass and cracks added to the gates.
From the series of drawings used for this one shot I'm least proud of my map. I'm still learning to make them, but i think it's a decend start.
Growing the universe
Not long ago I started expanding the world of my DnD OneShot. Firstly I threw some rice on the sheet of paper and drew a line around it to make main land and some islands. I wanted to have variety so on the map can be found- snow tundras up on the map symbolized by the light color, forests symbolized by darker green colors and planes with lighter green colors. Savana and deserts are symbolized by yellow color with greens where there would be water to make the land alive. Borders were made mostly random and then changed when I added colors to them. Few symbols like the tree for elven territories, two cave entrances symbolizing entrance to underdark, crowns for Kingdoms and a turtle as a place were race of Tortle mostly comes from.

The map shows only a part of the world, just a continent which I hope my players will enjoy exploring.
Characters
Serisa is a dark elf (drow) rogue. She's a young elf raised in the Underdark. She's only 180 years old of which more than 60 was walking as an outcast to her own people and people overground.
When she first left Underdark she joined some King's adventuring party to destroy threat to the Kingdome. After the mission her whole party dismissed her and took all her credit. She was banished and because of who she was she could not find help from anyone on the world. It caused her to be untrusting of others.
Serisa's first sketch on character sheet
Ziri is an Air Genasi ranger. Naive adventurer with pretty bad clothing choice. Most of the times she's happy and talkative, but when she's angry winds around her start to move faster.

While designing her it was harder than with Serisa. Air Genasi are not as popular as Drows are so I had the freedom to choose how this race looks. I decided on light blue colors and green eyes wanting to give her lightly transparent look. Her shirt is transparent and light flowing on the wind. She does have few straps, but most of the time they work only as something to hold other things. Would it be her chest armour or her equipment which contains mostly of daggers and maybe some gold. Most important part of her is her hat "glued" to her hair even when she's floating.
My third OC is and half orc half elf named Lazelf. She's a character used for a DnD campaign lead by my friend. The art is not done because I lost my photoshop document, but even if I had it I would redo it.
Compared to other works it's done digitaly and not on paper.
